Business Challenge - This new-start joint venture had to find a way to sell people services that had previously been provided by one of the parents back into the same parent company at a lower cost and with better service.
  • Our Role in the Solution - Our consultant led a multi-disciplinary team to capture the new business, create an organisation capable of delivery and negotiate with suppliers to provide bounded service at a lower cost.
  • The Outcome - A new portal and call centre was built to act as a shop window, accept the order, provision its delivery, bill the customer and accept agreed invoices from suppliers. Once proven, the solution was rolled out to other companies, generating step change in volumes and in savings / profit.
  • Achievements - A solution was built which cost the customer nothing up front but delivered cost savings every time it was used. Supplier costs were driven down because they now had an opportunity to deliver to a much wider audience and invoicing was much less complicated, so they queued to join the initiative.
